کاشان مهد گل محمدی و گلاب : شهرستان کاشان  مهد گل محمدی و منشا اصلی انتقال و گشترش این گیاه در جهان است. گل محمدی یکی از ویژگی های مهم و استثنایی منطقه کاشان می باشد. تنوع اقلیم، توپوگرافی و اختلاف ارتفاع از سطح دریا در مناطق تولید گل محمدی در کاشان از مزیتهای تولید این محصول محسوب می گردد. وجود اقلیم مناسب، سطح زیر کشت این محصول را تا  2580 هکتار افزایش داده و  علاوه برکیفیت اسانس و گلاب تولیدی در شهرستان، افزایش طول فصل تولید و برداشت گل محمدی همواره جذب کننده گردشگران و علاقه مندان به گل های بهاری است. کیفیت بالای درختچه های گل محمدی کاشان از نظر عملکرد، درصد اسانس، گلاب و سایر خصوصیات اقتصادی منجر به ثبت و معرفی رقم کاشان 93 از سوی موسسه ثبت و گواهی بذر و نهال کشور در سالهای اخیر گردید. این رقم در حال حاضر به عنوان رقم شاخص گل محمدی در سطح کشور شناخته می شود. فصل برداشت در مناطق مختلف شهرستان از اواسط فروردین ماه تا اوایل تیر ماه ادامه دارد.

کاشان سرزمین شاتوت ایرانی سخت میتوان گستره طبیعی انواع شاتوت را مشخص نمود اما عموما این درخت را  بومی ایران و ترکیه می دانند. کاشان از  نواحی اصلی کشت این درخت  در ایران محسوب می گردد. گسترش اصلی کشت این محصول در کاشان عمدتا در بخش کوهستانی بَرزُک و در ارتفاع بین 1800 تا 2100 متر از سطح دریا می باشد. سطح زیر کشت شاتوت در کاشان  بالغ بر 90هکتار است. شاتوت کاشان از نظر کیفیت و عملکرد در سطح کشور شاخص بوده و علاوه بر تازه‌خوری، فرآورده‌های آن نیز از جمله شربت، مربا و... نیز مورد استقبال قرار می گیرد. متوسط عملکرد تولید شاتوت در سال‌های نرمال در درختان 15 تا 20 سال با متوسط 400 درخت در هکتار به حدود 10 تن در هکتار می‌رسد.

کاشان قطب تولید و پرورش پرندگان زینتی: شهرستان کاشان از دیر باز یکی از مراکز اصلی تولید و پرورش انواع پرندگان زینتی بوده است؛ بطوری که در حال حاضر تعداد واحد های پرورش دهنده پرندگان زینتی در شهرستان کاشان بالغ بر  600 واحد است. ظرفیت تولید انواع پرندگان زینتی کوچک جثه شامل: انواع فنچ، مرغ عشق، عروس هلندی، طوطی برزیلی، قناری و پرندگان متوسط جثه شامل گرینچیک، کاسکو، راهب و... و پرندگان بزرگ جثه شامل کبک، قرقاول و طاووس مجموعا به میزان 3 میلیون قطعه در سال می رسد. میزان اشتغال این صنعت در کاشان یک هزار نفر به صورت مستقیم و غیر مستقیم برآورد می گردد و ارزش تولید ناخالص این صنعت7500 میلیارد ریال می باشد .

ثبت  فعالیتهای کشاورزی کاشان  در  نظام‌های میراث کشاورزی مهم جهانGIAHS) ): Globally Important  Agricultural Heritage Systems جیاس ایران در حال حاضر توانسته است تنها یک نظام میراث مهم کشاورزی جهانی GIAHS تحت عنوان « نظام کشاورزی مبتنی بر قنات کاشان» را به عنوان اولین نظام میراث مهم کشاورزی در FAO ثبت نماید «جیاس» نه به عنوان یک محصول خاص و یا جغرافیا بلکه به عنوان یک نظام و سیستم مطرح است. مناطقی که با این سیستم در فائو ثبت جهانی می‌شوند از امتیازات زیادی برای رونق گردشگری در سطح جهانی برخوردار شده و محصولاتی که در این سیستم تولید و بیرون می آیند دارای گواهی و برند GIAHS شده و قابلیت عرضه به بازارهای جهانی و صادراتی پیدا می‌کنند. در حال حاضر وزارت جهاد کشاورزی تعداد هشت پروپوزال را برای ارسال به فائو در دست بررسی و مطالعه دارد  که سیستم گل محمدی کاشان یکی از پروپوزالهای پیشنهادی است. همچنین  تدوین پروپوزال جیاس ماهیان زینتی کاشان انجام و برای بررسی مقدماتی در اختیار وزرات جهاد کشاورزی قرار گرفته است. نظام‌های میراث کشاورزی مهم جهانی از طریق فرآیند چشمگیر مشارکتی در تکامل نوع بشر و طبیعت و براساس تعامل و تشریک مساعی فرهنگی و زیستی طی قرون متمادی پدیدار شده‌اند که نشان دهنده تجربه انباشته مردم روستایی در سراسر جهان است.
